Following the success of last years competition we are back bigger than ever! More prizes, bigger venues...it's not to be missed! Most of the details are listed here

The entry fee will be £4 on the door, no tickets. Capacity is limited to 120 and once this is reached no further entries will be allowed
Curfew is 23:00 - Votes will be collected between 22:00-22:20 with the winner being announced shortly after
All shows are strictly over 18s unless otherwise stated below

The last band on will provide backline which will include
drum kit & bass amp. All bands will need to provide guitar amps and drum breakables (inc. stands and stool.
If you need equipment share you are responsible for sorting this with the other bands prior to the night of the gig

We are excited to announce that the winner of the BOTB will open the Solihull Summer Festival 2017
Bands can play no more than 2 covers and no longer than a 30 min set.
Additional points may be awarded by the venue staff for band having a good attitude and watching the other acts. The audience will be able to give 3 points
to their favourite act and 1 point to their second choice
PRIZES
All acts that win the opening round will win a free
2 hour rehearsal here at So Called Studios
There will be judges at the 2nd round and the final.
The final will be held at the O2 Institute 2, Digbeth
